The following pictures are some examples of custom round tables I have made for clients in the past from black walnut. My process with these pieces is to make a larger square casting and after cutting the circle out of the center the extra wood from the outside can then be used to form the base for the table. I can use a single or several pieces of wood to frame out the mold, with the opportunity to create a unique design.
