This piece of burled ambrosia maple was sustainably harvested from the mountains of Western North Carolina. The wood is filled with streaks of rich color with a blue tint that is created by a fungus that enters the holes caused by an Ambrosia beetle and interacts with the sugars in the sap creating the rich figure you see in the above pictures. This would make a lovely hall or entryway table that would bring some of the beauty of nature into your home.

This piece measures 58" in length, 16" in width and stands 34” tall.
